Hi, this is Charlie
Here is some information about me: I thought I would share a picture of Charlie with you. He is settling in nicely with us and has completed his obedience training. His behavior is better than we ever expected (I think he was the star of his class). His coat and skin are getting much better as well. He and our lab have also started getting along very well.
Update 05/09/2008
Things are going well with Charlie. He's is probably about 20 lbs heavier now than he was when we adopted. His training went well and he is very well behaved. He and Anabelle (our Lab/Golden mix) are very close now as well. I don't think I have any new pictures here at work, but I do have this one that is a few months old. I will send you some newer pictures from home.

Hi, this is Drake
Here is some information about me: This is Drake, my sweetheart. He came to us because he was killing chickens at his previous home. I can't imagine why anyone would part with this perfect fella. He is one of the sweetest boys I've ever been around. I know I'm not suppose to keep them, and I don't keep them all, but I bonded with this fella and our lives will never be the same. I love you Drake, I'm glad your a part of our family.

Hi, this is Isis
Here is some information about me: This is Isis, I thought I would send some pictures of her enjoying a little
play-time with the water-hose. She found the leak when I was cleaning and filling the water buckets. She chased the water, bit at the hose, and after I turned the water off, she decided she wasn't finished investigating the newly found object. I would love to see her with the garden sprinkler! We haven't unpacked her bikini yet, but she does have on sunscreen.
She has been adopted, Hooray!!!

Hi, this is Cody
Here is some information about me: Cody is a Doberman/Rottie mix and is less than a year old. He's as sweet as
they come! He's full of kisses, hugs, and wiggles. He's great with other
dogs, and even though he does bark at the cats, he hasn't offered to hurt
them. He has good house manners and also entertains himself well in the
yard. He should mature at about 50 to 60 pounds. He was found on the
interstate with his 2 sisters.

Hi, this is Sampson
Here is some information about me: Sampson is about a year old and was found wandering as a stray. Life has apparently been extremely hard for this poor baby. He is extremely thin and has had a really hard time getting in the swing of things. He will be with us for a while and we'll keep you updated on his progress, in the mean time remember us both in your prayers.
We are headed for obedience school in January. Sampson has done well at his obedience school and was one of the star pupils.
Update 6/7/2008 - Sampson has been adopted and has gone to his forever home. More Good things to come about Sampson.

Hi, this is Gracie
Here is some information about me: Gracie, she is approximately 12 to 18 months old and one of the most beautiful blue doberman I have ever seen. She is always happy and bouncy. She was found as a stray in Tennessee and a we are very pleased to be able to have her here for adoption. She has had some obedience training, doing well with house breaking and excellent in her crate. She plays well with other dogs and good with cats. She is still young and very energetic and so eager to please. Oh, my husband said she is an excellent kisser and loves to give them away. She's a little thin now but in great health and did I mention she is an absolute doll?

Hi, this is Lucas
Here is some information about me: Hi, I'm Lucas. Lucas is a beautiful fawn boy and an absolute doll. He's always grinning, and wanting hugs and kisses. He is an amazing athlete. He climbs the ladder, jumps, and loves to swim and play ball and wants more than anything to please. He has no idea that he is 90 pounds and will not be satisfied until he manages some way to get all of himself in your lap. He gets along really well with other dogs and cats, has great house manners and is crate trained. Because of his size and energy level, I am not recommending him to be adopted into a home with small children, he's great with kids but could knock them down really easy. I would prefer him adopted into a home that he could use his athletic ability in agility, fly ball, or an athletic sport. He would make an excellent running partner. He is about 18 months old. None of these pictures do him justice, he doesn't like to be still and I think he's camera shy.
Oh, he's all natural, tail, dew claws, and ears. His tail would prove to be an asset in sporting.
You know he has to be a doll to let momma put that wreath on his neck!

Update - 5-02-2008
Well, she's definately a happy girl in her New Home. Even had to go on a diet!

Hi, this is Dega
Here is some information about me: Well folks, this is Dega, one half of the most perfect married couple. When their previous owner said Dega and Lexi could never be separated, we really thought that they would get less dependent on each other with the opportunity to be around more dogs. We were wrong. They are so in love! They can't even be happy in crates beside each other, they sleep, eat, walk, groom, and even potty together. Dega is such a perfect gentleman and takes such good care of his wife Lexi. And Lexi is a wonderful wife. They are great with other dogs and cats, but chase chickens. They are wonderful with people and are great kissers! Dega is 3 and Lexi is 5. Since they absolutely MUST go together, we will
work with their new owners with the adoption fee. They also have great manners.
Lexi is Blue and Dega is Black and tan
OH, whoever adopts them stands to be a millionaire if they can work with Dega and start conducting seminars on Perfect Husbandry.
Update - 05-02-2008.
Dega and Lexi in their New Home. Their new Mom sent te picture and said "I can't imagine life without them".

Hi, this is Dakota
Here is some information about me: This is Dakota, my first rescue dog as Alabama Doberman Rescue. She is almost 4 years old now and came from Murphreesboro, Tennessee. She had escaped the back yard and was hit by a car. Her owner then called animal control to pick her up. I fell in love with her picture! After calling the shelter with my credit card number we
were please to find her prognosis to be one what would be good with a couple weeks of rest. She had fractured her pelvis! We were lucky that the fracture did not require surgery and for the next 6 weeks, we carried her outside to the bathroom and the rest is history, we can't imagine our family without her.

Hi, this is Ghost
Here is some information about me: This handsome fella is a 2 -3 year old blue boy who was rescued by an angel in South Alabama. The first part of his life was far from perfect but we are working hard to see too it that the next years will make up for it. He is a superb house dog!
Unfortunately he is going through heart worm treatment and won't be ready for
adoption until the end of January but, that's going to be here before you know it.
Ghost seems to get along well with other dogs and cats but while going through treatment, it's hard to say. Check back with us for more details and to see when Ghost is ready for his New Home. Remember to send some good wishes to him for Christmas.
Update (04/2008) - Ghost successfully completed his heartworm treatment and is continuing to put his weight back on, however he was very excited when the full body picture was taken and
really is not as thin as he appears in the picture. He is completely house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, walks well on leash, and has really good manners. He does get along with other females but, was an owner surrender from a "only dog" family and entertains himself really well. He LOVES balls, doesn't matter what size! He is prey driven and can't live in a home where he can be around small animals. His face tells all, he's a sweetheart!

Hi, this is Poncho
Here is some information about me: This is Poncho, a 7 year old male. Poncho was loved and abandoned by 2 families and neighbors decided to care for Poncho. After his Dad got transferred out of town, he chose to do the responsible thing and place Poncho in rescue with us where he is now living life as a King!!! Poncho is the only dog of retired parents and SPOILED
would be an understatement! I'm thrilled because this fella deserves it! He finally has a loving forever family. Way to go Poncho!

Hi, this is AnnaBelle
Here is some information about me: Well, this little darling has spent 13 years pleasing her owner and now needs to be in a home where she can be really appreciated and well pampered. Don't let her age fool you, she acts more like a 3 year old than a 13 year old. She is the ultimate Velcro dog, she makes every step I do and waits on the bathmat while I am in the shower. AnnaBelle has wonderful obedience skills, house manners and does well with cats and okay with dogs. She does tend to want to be an alpha female so, a home with an older female or just a male would be better. She is very special to me because she wants so much to please and deserves much more than she has been dealt the last 6 months. She is a blue, docked and cropped. She is a perfect little petite lady, never wants to do anything wrong. Oh, and she has a beautiful smile. She has a little trouble with incontinence but I have been able to control it with her diet. Because of her age, we will adjust her adoption fee.
