Alabama Doberman Rescue Policies

The Doberman's that come to us have been turned over to us for a variety of reasons.  Due to the many reasons that owners give up a Doberman we must be sure that a prospective Adopter and/or Foster understands that these dogs need a stable and understanding environment.  Our policies are in place to help insure that the Doberman's we rescue will not suffer from neglect, abuse or mistreatment.  While some of our policies may seem somewhat unyielding, it is for the best interest of our Doberman's.

1. Should you as an Adopter or Foster decide you either cannot or will not keep an Adopted or Fostered Doberman for any reason, it will be returned to Alabama Doberman Rescue.  When signing your adoption and/or Foster contract, You explicitly acknowledge this provision.
2. All Adoptions and/or Fostering of our Doberman's is subject to the sole discretion of Alabama Doberman Rescue.  As such, our decisions are final.
3. All prospective Adopters and/or Fosters must fill out the appropriate applications/forms found on our web site to be considered. 
4. All applications Must be signed and mailed to Alabama Doberman Rescue.
5. No Doberman will be Adopted or Fostered without a signed contract.
6. No Doberman will be Adopted or Fostered without a Home Visit and Reference check.
